The URI /uri_gin/usgin/ identifies the U.S. Geoscience Information Network project. The normative representation for the USGIN project is http://usgin.org

This page is the default representation for the USGIN project, and is essentially the root of the registry of registries for resources under the USGIN name authority. In the registry repository structure for the USGIN URI scheme, a subdirectory is present for each resource type that is registered as a USGIN resourceType. In the directory listing below, each subdirectory is a registry instance for a particular category of registered items.
