Some Aspects of Geopressured Resources in California

Basic Information
Author:
Sanyal, S.K.
Author:
Robertson-Tait, A.
Description:
This paper presents the results of a continuing study of geopressured resources in California. Three aspects of geopressured resources were examined in this study: the identification of geopressured zones in wells; quantification of the excess pressure from well logs; and the quantity of dissolved methane in California geopressured fluids.

AASG Geothermal Well Log Data template_v1.2

Basic Information
Author:
Richard, Stephen M.
Description:
This spreadsheet indicates the content requested for AASG geothermal data compiled from logs acquired in boreholes. The compiled data will be used to produce metadata records describing logs as resources of interest. Typically bottom hole temperatures are recorded from log headers, and this information will be provided through a borehole temperature observation service. The HeaderURI for a particular borehole (well for simple wells) is the cross-referencing link (foreign key) used to associate the header record, well logs, temperature measurements, and other information from a particular borehole.

Description:
A brief overview on how to link data, obtain Identifiers, a look at the actual data and templates, and how to get your borehole data online. Video's part 1 - 5 Part 1 introduces and explains types of data for boreholes with an explanation on identifiers and linking data. Part 2 briefly explains metadata vs. data with an overview on templates used for borehole data. Part 3 takes a look at actual data being used and made through templates, spreadsheets and feature services. Part 4 starts off where part 3 stopped, a look at the actual data using the templates and feature services. Part 5 explains how to search the catalog for metadata records.
